Inner Oasis FAQs

Find answers to the most common questions about our classes, private sessions, and fitness FAQs. Everything you need to know, all in one place.

Yes — after beginning as a traveling yoga experience, Inner Oasis now has a physical wellness studio in Wichita, KS. It’s home to our yoga classes, Reiki sessions, and community events. Select classes with Synthanee are still hosted at partner studios around Wichita — see the schedule for details.

Our public classes are offered on a limited basis due to Synthanee’s full-time schedule. You’ll often find us:

In addition to studio classes, we host pop-up events and gatherings in collaboration with local small businesses, public parks, and unique venues throughout the city. We also offer intimate sessions and workshops in our home studio, designed for small group experiences that feel personal, safe, and sacred. From moon circles to mini-retreats, each experience is curated to honor the energy of the season and the space. We also offer corporate yoga and workplace wellness sessions bringing mindfulness and movement directly to your team or office. Keep an eye on our Instagram or join our email list for pop-up classes and event announcements and for loyalty discounts.

We’ve got you covered on most of the props! We provide enough to comfortably support groups of up to 20, including:

  • Bolsters
  • Blankets
  • Blocks
  • Eye Covers
  • Water Bottle

We do have a limited number of yoga mats available, but we recommend bringing your own for comfort and familiarity whenever possible. You’re also welcome to bring a journal, crystals, or any personal items that support your practice.

Wear clothing that feels good to move, stretch, and rest in. We recommend choosing layers that help you stay comfortable throughout class, especially for sound baths or restorative sessions where your body temperature may drop.

  • Restorative or Reiki-infused sessions: Cozy, looser layers are ideal for deep relaxation.
  • Flow or active practices: More fitted clothing can help support alignment and ease of movement.

Ultimately, there’s no right or wrong — just wear what allows you to feel at ease and present in your body.

Not at all. Inner Oasis classes and events are intentionally designed to be welcoming to every body. Whether it’s your first time on the mat or you’ve been practicing for years, you’ll be guided with care, support, and accessible options. Our offerings are rooted in presence, inclusivity, and meeting you where you are — physically, emotionally, and energetically. We do ask that you complete a short questionnaire and waiver before attending. This gives us a small window into your needs and helps us design each class with intention, ensuring you feel seen, safe, and supported throughout your experience.

All current offerings including classes, workshops, mini-retreats, and special events can be found on the Schedule page. From there, you can view details and register through our booking system on WellnessLiving. Each listing includes the location, what to bring, and any additional notes to help you prepare. Because we keep our sessions intentionally intimate, advanced registration is required — we’re unable to accept drop-ins or payment at the door. Looking to host a private group class or custom experience? Reach out to us directly at contact@inneroasisyoga.com or fill out the contact form — we’d love to co-create something with you.

Reiki (pronounced ray-key) is a gentle energy healing technique that supports physical, emotional, and energetic balance. Originating from Japan, Reiki works by channeling universal life force energy (known as ki or chi) through the practitioner’s hands to help clear blocks, promote relaxation, and support the body’s natural healing process. While Reiki is spiritual in nature, it is not a religion — just like yoga. Although its roots are culturally aligned with Eastern spiritual traditions, Reiki can be adapted to support your personal beliefs, devotions, or practices. Whether you connect through prayer, meditation, intention, or stillness, Reiki simply meets you where you are. At Inner Oasis, Reiki is offered in private sessions or woven gently into certain yoga experiences to deepen the energetic support. ⚠️ Reiki is a supportive, complementary practice — it does not replace medical care, therapy, or mental health treatment. It works beautifully alongside other healing modalities and can help you process and integrate the support you’re already receiving.

Think of Reiki like a tune-up — not for your car, but for your body, mind, and energy. Just like regular maintenance keeps your vehicle running smoothly, consistent Reiki helps you feel more balanced, clear, and grounded in your day-to-day life.

  • Monthly for ongoing energetic maintenance and stress relief.
  • Biweekly or weekly during periods of emotional healing, burnout, or major life changes.
  • As needed before or after transitions, events, or when you feel energetically “off”.

Some clients book regularly, while others come when they feel called. There’s no wrong way — only what works for you. If you’re not sure where to begin, Synthanee can help you tune into the frequency that best supports your path. ⚠️ Reiki is a supportive, complementary practice — it does not replace medical care, therapy, or mental health treatment.

Currently, Synthanee offers private Reiki sessions exclusively for women. These 1:1 sessions are designed to support emotional balance, energetic alignment, and deep rest — all in a safe, sacred container. Reiki sessions may include intuitive energy work, guided breath, sound bath, aromatherapy, and space for integration or reflection. Private yoga sessions will be available in the near future. Stay tuned for announcements via our newsletter or Instagram.

Whether you’re joining us for a Reiki session or a yoga gathering, your experience will be intentional, welcoming, and designed to meet you where you are. You’ll be guided through a short check-in, offered any props or support you need, and invited to move or rest at your own pace. Reiki sessions may include quiet music, guided breath, and gentle energy work — all done fully clothed and in a safe, nurturing space. There’s no pressure to perform or “do it right.” Just come as you are — curious, open, and willing to listen to your body. We recommend arriving a few minutes early and filling out our waiver and intake form ahead of time, so we can best support your needs.
